Our toilet seat broke last week so I went to Lowes to get one. I refused to use to electric scooter parked near the entrance and walked to the back of the store and picked out the toilet seat. Then I realized I didn't have the energy to get back to the front of the store for check out. I set down on a John Deere lawn mower to rest a bit and it was like saying sickem to the salesman . Lesson learned --either use the scooter or set on a cheaper model of lawn mower.

Charlie thank you for putting a smile on my face. Today has been a rough day for me so your post was a great way to end my day. I love the fact that you can take a bad situation and find a way to make us smile. I'm sorry you had a rough time at lowe's. I have gotten so if I go into a large store and they don't have electric carts I just turn around and leave. I try not to get stuck in the back of a store.

no pictures of this one.... :)

Our daughter on her first try on one of the mobile shopping carts took out a full corner of stacked goods...thank goodness cereal boxes.

Thanks for the laugh Charlie! The part that really cracked me up was the salesman telling you that you could ride the mower at 5 mph and you thinking that's not such a great idea with double vision! I have had some funny incidents with my double vision. We really do have a different way of looking at things. I love that we can laugh at our mg misfortunes. Laughter is good medicine!

My first ride on the cart almost was my last. We are retired military. Was at Ft Lewis, which makes Walmart look like a minimart. Anyway, they used to have these huge baskets on the front of the carts (They have since gone to much smaller baskets, probably because of me. I had it in the fastest speed (who knew they had speed markers(rabbits and turtle) Anyway, I was in rabbit, turned the corner so fast that I took out the bottom row of Pampers, not just took them out but sent them a good distance. Poor young soldier, was trying disparately to make me stay on scooter instead of trying to clean up the mess my self. He kept saying please mam, please stay seated, I will clean it up. I promptly backed up and took out the end display behind me. I don't remember even what was on the display.
It was only my first attempt of cart riding. I have many more adventures on shopping carts. Its like kiddy land for MG'rs.. Something about the first one...So many malls to play in.
