I had troubles with alcohol and my treatment (mestinon and prednisone). My symptoms were that even with one or two drinks, the effect seem to be exaggerated -- couldn't even drive safely, so I just gave up any alcohol. Haven't heard of red skin blotches before. Prednisone lowers immune system response, so one might think we would have less reactions that appear to be immune system responses.
