The site administrators responded positively to a message I sent them voicing the same difficulty and recommending they recruit a small group of us to test and improve the site, modify the changes .. to make this easier, not more difficult!! Please message them to add your support. (Haven't heard of Topix before, thanks for pointing it out).

The new website sort of leaves me feeling lost in navigating around right now. However, I think I can get used to it. Life is full of change, and how we adjust to it, and attempt to learn what is new, makes life both interesting and challenging. I will certainly figure out how to make improvement needed suggestions!

I never liked the old search feature on the old DS, so I search DS from the outside as a "google site search"
What you do is type this whole line in and you should get what you are looking for

The DS search only goes back 3 years. Since all of the old posts are actually still on the site, the google site search looks through them. I looked for my first post here from the summer of 2012 when newly diagnosed and did find it and it reminded me of how little I knew about MG a few weeks after being diagnosed and then hospitalized with breathing problems.

Once in a while I use the google site search to remember a friend here who passed away nearly 2 years ago, Elinor Scott. I just go to a google search window and type in
"Elinora myasthenia 2012 site:dailystrength.org" and see her 2012 posts. If I want to see what she posted in her last year when she found her MG was really a side effect of pancreatic cancer that had spread, I change the year to 2014. https://www.google.com/?ion=1&espv=2#q=elinora+2012+myasthenia+site:dailystrength.org

Good to learn of these other search methods. And just to throw in a bit of humour ... but I wager that we in the MG support group are having an easier time with the Daily Strength website changes ... as it mirrors our experience as well with MG ... takes determined effort to unravel it!! We should be used to complications I guess. lol. So .. what's a little change in a website.

Are you all using computers? Because this is way more than a little website change on an iPad, which is all I have.

I think it was redesigned to make it easier to read on a device -- I am so old I am used to the computer. Funny to think how old-fashioned that is now. I still read a paper newspaper! Why, back in my day....

I'm on an iPad and it's totally different. You have to scroll a lot because most of the page is ads or links to other stuff. For me, not so user friendly.

I know. And there is no way to get to the full site. Argh.
