Gm, My neurologist informed me in the ER. That my tremors was coming from the prednisone. DOES anyone has this problem are heard of this ?

Yes, prednisone can make you shaky and give you tremors.

most definitely!!! for me it is the hands that are the worse-have a hard time writing legibly!!!

I have tremors and am not on prednisone. I have attributed it to the tacrolimus (which is also an immunosuppressant)
My handwriting has gone to the dogs (and I'm left-handed so it was a little different to begin with)

There are several types of tremor, and I think mine is more related to fatigue than the meds as it comes and goes. I can sometimes use tiny jewelers tools but some days I shake coffee out of a cup when trying to sit it down (probably an "Intention" tremor.) So...like most elements of this quirky syndrome, no easy answer! I'm sorry that it scared you, and was bad enough to send you to the ER. When it happens, I keep telling myself, "Hey, that's a GOOD sign that my muscles are really working today!" I gotta laugh...helps keeps the anxiety away. We WILL get through this.

I've never had tremors. I have been on prednisone in doses as high as 80mg/day. I am also on 200mg/day of Imuran. I have lousy handwriting, anyway, so most of my communications are typewritten.

I am shaky a lot in my hands and fingers with prednisone as well... but I am breathing so I will take the shakiness side effect graciously!

Yes, my partner had tremors mainly in the hands. He was on prednisone also.

i had tremors on cellcept at a high dose, it improved when i split the dose up ie one pill 3-4 times a day instead of one big dose
