I agree with Dee have only been with you guys since march also and would love to learn more about Curt..he did have some powerful posts and seemed to have wisdom and that certain kind of wit..Said surely what was on his mind and appears he made the best of every situation and enjoyed the life he had..I admire that...Thats what I have the hardest time doing make the best of days I feel halfway good and miss out on alot of things because of it!! Sounds like he didnt waste a moment...Thanks guys and thank you all truley for all your support and wisdom and advice and hugs etc. Its such a great family.....Hugs to you all

hcmiller92 was his name...he died from complications related to lymphoma and MG. He loved to ride his motorcycle. He was to the point with his words. You would've enjoyed his conversations. Luckily we still have many DS family members to share their wisdom, and we have our memories of those who have passed.

All I know is I wish he was still here.

I miss Curt. You could always count on him to tell you like it is. He pulled no punches, but a lot of the time I needed a kick in the pants and he delivered. I miss him.

I pasted my journal article of July 22, 2012, 5 days after Curt died, on my discussion thread. I think he would say not to piss and moan even about losing him. I can just see him in those posts Joe added, and am thankful he didn't say directly you (meaning me) have to be brain dead to need a hospital advocate. With someone who could yell at the nurse and squirt the room with his own blood, maybe no other advocate is necessary, but I wish he had someone there before he coded, those years ago, and comforted that his family was there when he died. You can get a taste of his "outside life" at his blog spot (that was posted in the journal) and in "tips for daily life." in the Links Group. Although we may have problems chewing and swallowing and Curt was sometimes tough to swallow--he was worth the effort--and he left us a lot to chew on. ;-) b.

Without a doubt from all I've read about Curt he was someone I would have like to met as his integrity , wisdom and non quit attitude are all valuable qualities that we all want in our personalities whether you have mg or not.

He had interesting stories and would offer his direct phone number on the website for people to call if they needed someone to talk to.

He offered it to me..I just never called. He was a very passionate person.
