Hi everyone!
I'm curious to hear more about your symptoms....what they feel like, or just things that are comorbid to the disease, for instance:
* my left cheek droops and consequently get bitten. I have to literally pull it out of my teeth. I live on Anbesol.
* legs throb as soon as I lay down.
* my tired arm gets cramps when I try to use it too much.
* most of my manifestations are more severe on my left side.

Nodes on thyroid can cause trouble swallowing.
Has anyone ever had any formal testing? I had been telling my PDoc for over a year before she ordered the testing . I had a manometry study (lovely experience) which revealed achalasia and diffuse esophageal spasms 1/3 of the time I swallowed. This is being attributed to a Lap bandI had put in 6 years ago.
I ask about those kooky symptoms, because being ADD already, I miss things until they slap me in the face....
Since I've had episodes of shortness of breath, my pills periodically get stuck in my throat, as opposed to my esophagus. My inability to eat has changed our lives as a family. At dinner it's, "uh oh, moms gonna throw up again!" Oh the fun!
