Has anyone ever had any formal testing? I had been telling my PDoc for over a year before she ordered the testing . I had a manometry study (lovely experience) which revealed achalasia and diffuse esophageal spasms 1/3 of the time I swallowed. This is being attributed to a Lap bandI had put in 6 years ago.
I ask about those kooky symptoms, because being ADD already, I miss things until they slap me in the face....
Since I've had episodes of shortness of breath, my pills periodically get stuck in my throat, as opposed to my esophagus. My inability to eat has changed our lives as a family. At dinner it's, "uh oh, moms gonna throw up again!" Oh the fun!
