Someone old me once......cellcept keeps you from making the bad stuff but it takes months to get the bad stuff out of your system. It helps me to understand what may be going on.

I had the same problem with Imuran. Been on Cellcept (generic - Mycophenolate Mofetil) for several years with no problems.
You will find on the MG Daily Strength home page a list of common medications used for MG. If you select cellcept it shows you 48 DS MG members use cellcept with 81% success. The cellcept page will also give you general information about the medication.
I find Drugs.com is one of the best resources for medications; how to take, SIDE EFFECTS, etc.

Cellcept is like imuran, it takes up to six or more months to take effect.
Hope you get good results with cellcept.

My white count is low and my HCT and Hbg but I think that is to be expected.
I still get plex every week and am waiting for my cellcept to kick in so I can tell you more then:)
