Any and everything that impacted me before is multiplied and worse for me since MG
I hope you are adjusting a bit without your partner. I bet you really miss your friend.

My daughter has MG too and has a keen sense of smell and migraines too that began with her onset of MG which confused the doctors.
So sorry to hear about the loss of your partner...debra
I have to wear sunglasses - inside the house!
A beam of light, or even a reflection, that shines directly, in my unprotected eyes?
That's all they wrote, folks - for that day.
Can't see - worth a hoot.
Needless to say, I shade my eyes, very carefully.
I would have loved to have had a diagnosis. If I knew then what I do now I could have been so much more understanding and sympathetic.
I have learned to live with many things because I do not want to take pharmaceuticals. Most of them I have a bad reaction to. I do use herbal supplements.
Light too and reflections can be worse than regular light, very bad. People look at my reactions to this like Im a bit loose in the head but it is horrible for me.
I never relized this may be MG realted...
I am in my late 30's, and I had issues with sunlight and possibly brighter lights(mainly direct sunlight) when my MG wasn't being treated and was progressing. My eyes in particular hated the sun, and made things worse. Perhaps I was more sensitive to chemicals also. Although, I know I did swim in the pool without much of a problem as it relates to Chlorine. I will be 40 next year, and since I have been improving, these are no longer factors for me. I wouldn't discount chemicals for me or anyone with MG, but I don't seem to get any more irritated than pre-mg when I smell them or detergents/soaps for that matter. We need the sun, everybody does. Let's not avoid it.
So, I believe this is an individual thing.
People are gluten sensitive, with or without MG, and so on...
Best wishes,
TJ
I have not noticed any effects on other senses though.
This is crazy.
