What ever it is, you should head to the doctor.
I don't remember if you are taking an anti-immune system med (prednisone or something like that), but if you are then you are much more susceptible to eye infections which are one cause of eye pain. Not sure if eye pain is related to MG itself.

When you get MG you usually get another autoimmune disease -- for free! My Neuro called it "the autoimmune soup." Many here have Sjogren's syndrome -- eye symptoms that can occur with Sjogren's syndrome include blurred vision, a gritty or burning sensation and light sensitivity. Does that sound like it? ~joe

No burning , but the double vision and light sensitivity have been normal and constant for me since my diagnosis

I have Sjogrens and it can be very painful. Eye drops help, rubbing your eyes makes it worse.

The light sensitivity and and double vision are part of MG (at least until you get it under control). It's usually worse later in the day, but in the morning it's no big deal. I would get muscle pain from continually trying to keep my eyelids open when I was first dXed. ~Joe

I'm not sure if you have seen a doctor for this yet but I get this occasionally too. It is much worse when I have a migraine or sinus pressure. It's usually present when I wake up and gets better as the day progresses but occasionally lasts all day. I have no idea what it is and I have discussed it with the Neuro Ophthalmologist and he didn't seem to think that it was related to the MG. I have pretty bad light sensitivity and blurred/double vision with some regularity. I don't think that it is related to those symptoms. It doesn't seem to be a "normal" MG issue. It could just be a coincidence but you never know. Keep us posted.

as far as I know there is no pain caused by MG .So if you have any it is some thing that needs to be checked out
