More prednisone would run the risk of long term side effects.
Maybe a good rest period during the day might help get you through the evening.
Or may you could just take your daily dose a bit later in the morning.a
Are you taking mestinon (pyridostigmine)? That is what we usually use for when we need a boost. Possibly you need a dose in the evening.
Generally we think of prednisone for the long haul rather than the daily fluctuations.

It did not help at all.
And even made sleep more difficult. Most of us seem to to take prednisone once a day? Earlier, rather than later?
I cannot tolerate Mestinon, as it worsens another condition.
When I lagged at night, I just went to bed.
(Everything is relative, I guess. How was my daytime lag, any different from my evening lag!)
