After I got off of prednisone, I was tested and still had hypogonadism (very low testosterone due to some problem in the testicle production of it) and am still on it. Just visited the endocrinologist and asked her and the neuro about testosterone and MG -- they didn't think there was any research that indicated a cause-effect relationship, but did think it might be more than just chance, as MG is a young woman, older man type of disease, and hormones are connected with some autoimmune diseases. High levels of testosterone have been shown to decrease immune system activity. Mine are low normal now with meds.
