I just had my first appointment today with a neurologist and he confirmed what my primary care Dr. had suspected with MG. He wants another CT scan to see if there is a Thymus tumor but he did prescribe Mestinon. I am grateful to my primary care Dr. for believing I had a problem, I have been following this forum for a couple of weeks and apparently some are not as fortunate as I have been.

My MG journey began in July of this year. I had severe cataracts so I didn't notice the double vision and had attributed the closed left eye to the cataract. The weakness and other symptoms I also confused with the bad vision. I had the cataract surgeries thinking this would solve everything. Well I had really bad reactions to the surgery, dizziness, falling down, choking etc. and the loss of control was frightening. Having MG is better than the mystery and now at least I have hope for improvement.
