Myasthenia Gravis Support Group
Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular disease leading to fluctuating muscle weakness and fatiguability. The hallmark of myasthenia gravis is muscle weakness that increases during periods of activity and improves after periods of rest. If Richard Pryor could make jokes - about setting himself on fire?
Well I'd bet - he could make a pretty good routine - from the MG Walk!
Wait! No, he couldn't.
You beat him to it, Kimber!
But Richard's not here, to defend himself.
So - cut it out!
My side is starting to hurt!
We should have the MG nap-athon. We could have cool games like "most pimped out walker" or the dizzy bat game except you just have to make one circle around the bat and you don't have to be leaning over to do it. We could name the grand poobah by finding the Myansthenic that could open a jar of pasta sauce with out a tool. (At least that's one that always gets me!)
Love, Cathy
Man oh man I would have loved to see that thing seat belted in!
Reminds me of my mom's friend who hit a deer in NC. Totaled the car. She got a fine from a State Trooper for killing the deer. But what really got her is why the Trooper didn't understand her argument of why she should be allowed to take the deer home and eat it because she had to pay the fine anyway!
No one here, will take offense at laughter.
It's true: somebody might use up - a few unexpected spoons?
But what better way - to use them up!
Jeannie is right - and everyone will say the same. As far as I can see, even in the earliest postings? Everybody here - has been saying the same thing, right along.
Laughter, is - the best medicine!
Now. Did you hear the one, about the two myasthenics who walked into a bar ...
Well, actually - they fell in.
(I resemble that remark.) There's more.
But first ... me & my buddy ... gotta find them spoons!
And I don't see too good.
Thanks for the grins my first day back at work after the last hopsital stay ;) Nice way to end the day.
"Here,s a story you are not going to believe. I shot a moose once. I was hunting in upstate New York and I shot a moose. And I strap him onto the fender of my car, and I 'm driving along the West Side Highway. But what I didn't realize was that the bullet did not penetrate the moose. It just creased his scalp, knocking him unconscious. And I'm driving through the Holland Tunnel and the moose woke up. So I'm driving with a live moose on my fender and the moose is signaling for a turn. And there's a law in New York State against driving with a conscious moose on your fender Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. And I'm very panicky. And then it hits me-- some friends of mine are having a costume party. I'll go."
You can make up your ending, but the moose got in disguised as the Solomons and did not win first prize. b.
Good stuff here, people. You all are making me weak! J/K....

I'm doubled over, my sides are aching ...
My legs are in knots ... I can't speak ...
And now - I can't see straight.
