I was diagnosed in may of 2017 and thought i was having a stroke, the 3rd nuerologist i went to got me on the right track I am now starting solaris and mestinon i have had ivig and the blood transfer, which i would never do again. the ivig helped a lot but the the fact that i couldnot eat due to my throat closing i was put in the hospital several times. It is very scary the food they gave me looked liked baby food and i refused to eat. so I am so hopeful that solaris is the magic drug. I will update right now i have double vision and my muscles in my back are bad. i cant drive. God only knows
Did your throat close or could you just not swallow. Just wondering because that sounds really scary.
I hope you feel better soon. keep us posted on Solaris not many are on this drug.
Sorry to hear about your situation. It is certainly a more severe path than many of us have. with MG.
Just a thought but given the 'success' of the Thymectomy thread I wonder if you would consider either renaming your thread (if you know how - I don't) or starting it again, but named 'Solaris'?

Weicome to the group Sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time with MG. Hope Solaris works for you. Prednisone worked good for me when I was at my worst problems.
