Muscle weakness

Does anyone have times of muscle weakness , labored breathing , and dizzyness while not having a lazy eye lid and not slurring words. I started with the slurring words and progressed to the eye lid going shut , but now the eye stays open , i still slur from time to time , but have started being very weak kneed , fatigued , labored breathing and weak kneed. Is this something else or just another stage of MG

I think that MG can be variable, and the symptoms you describe are the more generalized variety. I would mention the breathing to the neuro. Hope you are feeling a bit better soon!

I would say this is another stage of mg. something very similar happened to me. since diagnosed, my worst symptoms had always been swallowing, slurred speak, chewing, and general facial weakness but since the beginning of the summer my symptoms in my face have improved greatly but weakness in my limbs and core have gotten much worse. I am finally feeling better in general but I got to the point where I couldn't go up stairs or get on and off of chairs without assistance...my doc said its very common for mg to move throughout your body and plague certain muscles more than others. hope this helps!

Laboured breathing is always cause for concern. I hope you are feeling better today and your breathing has improved or at the least stabilized.
Have a look at the MG Links and News Group page, under discussions tab you will see one entry titled "Counting test to determine Shortness of Breath" and the other "Breathing Problems". VERY important information here that everyone should familiarize themselves with.

i have generalized MG and the only time that I have breathing problems is when I am taking too much Mestinon. I do get winded easily while walking or talking. I mean times where I do not breathe automatically.

My symptoms fluxate. It is so hard to figure MG out, but I keep
trying :-)
