This is such great news! Very encouraging and hopeful. While it may not happen soon enough for me, I am excited for all of the younger folks that will get to enjoy being MG-free! As for me I am 67 years young and I have only had MG a little over 3 years and I still have tons for which to be thankful. For example, no trips to the ER, no MG Crisis, no ICU, no hospitalizations, I was diagnosed and started on Mestinon within 2 months of first symptoms. In fact after going to 3 doctors in the U.S., and no diagnosis, I went to a Neuro in Mexico (where I live part-time) and he diagnosed me in about 15 minutes. He followed up with appropriate tests and MG is my correct diagnosis. For those of you who don't trust doctors in Mexico, I did follow up at my next annual physical at my American Clinic in Santa Barbara CA and got the same result - MG. LOVE my Neuro in Mexico! OK, so I am rambling on, I just got really excited about this article!! Read it, you will encouraged!!!
