Shot area is a little sore -
While waiting, we were chatting with another patient who said he was not going to get the shot because he thought that the shot was a government plan to kill off us Vets.
Seems like there are lots of conspiracy theories out there.
Since there isn't a lot of data out there about how it effects MGers, I guess I am now a data point. :-)
Scott
thank for sharing your reservations, but hold and behold you are free of them now,you sore sptot will dissapear in about 5 days.
even do it is a new vaccine we cannot take for granted all the pros and agianst, but there is a time that reason must prevail and you done what is correct, for you your loved ones , friends and people you come in touch whit.
conspirasys theories are nothing but, something to talk with no sence or reason.
we know that there is very little data or none with regard of mg.. But is up to as the ones whom are getting the vaccine to convey all what we feel in our body, to provide our peers, the right information good or bad of what transcribes with our body.
with nobody forward theit results .the will not be helpfull so please anybody whom get the vaccine comunicate with all what your feel good or bad
this will be the trhu only way to have proper data
at this time i am also a data point. and glad to forward my pros and cons , but one thing i want make certain that you understand, THERE IS NOTHIBH TO BE AFRAID AND PREVENT YOU FROM GETTING THIS VACCINE
best of luck to you scott and all of you
Andre
I agree the vaccination is certainly our best hope. Thank you for letting us know that you did fine with it.
I think I will be on schedule to get mine in March. And I certainly encourage everyone to get it.
Good luck
Russ
the second will be for me the prooff of the putting,to clearify what is going on with it, since they are some talk in regard of the second from pfiser
best of luck
Andre
thanks for the info. you now are another point of data, let us know your reactions if any, and the second shot.
i beleive that the slight headache may have come from interaction from other meds. as for the sore arm ,that is commun with vaccines it will be gone in about 3 to 5 days.
please when you gat your second let us know how you are progressing as it is very important, for aknoleging a date base, thus people to will not be so learry to get their vaccine
Best of luck
Andre
There have been deaths, blood disorders, and a plethora of adverse reactions including Bell's Palsy and plenty of others. No thanks but I am glad we can share our experiences here and I wish everyone best health and strength. I know this all is scary to older people especially. You can check my other posts here for info and anyone can search for the info. This concoction isn't really a vaccine by the definition and I could go into this a lot more but we all have choices in life. Peace.
TJ
i respect your decision entirely. the choice is yours and your family.
at this time it is no longer an experiment, our bodies can adapt to allmost anything, but at this time why jeopardize it ??
i know perfectly they have been a number of daths and problems as it is whit all meds and vaccines, it will take time to sort thru them.
for me i was going to wait a longer time but as a married man , as she was inform to take it. i cound not say no and put her in jeopardy, we are in our 80s and both with health complications
me the worst, as i am avery high risk for cov19, so i took it i explained that every thing is ok, and tomorrow is my second.
i belive that some of these deaths are results not deribed from mg. but due to meds taken, underlying ddeseases not defined and others, this is why it is imperative to talk to our neuros and put cards on the table in regard of meds taken, principaly drugs that they where made for organs transplant and others that will be a problem with this vaccine.
now to the vaccines, i was lucky to get pfiser, which beetwen all i thrust the most, better on performance . more stable, than all others.
as i say before i respect your desition, as i respect everybody choices
will let you know moday how it is going
Best ot luck
Andre
