Every summer I take a solo trip to Vegas, and I am going to go in June in spite of my MG Diagnosis. I know the long flight, late nights, hot desert weather, etc. are not great for MG, but it is important to me to not let this disease control my life. I plan on wearing my medic alert bracelet, rest a lot, and keep in touch with people back home. A couple months ago, I thought I was going to need to rent a scooter, but my strength is improving quite nicely. I am feeling more up for the trip than last summer which was before my first hip operation.
Anybody have any experiences they want to share with the group regarding surviving Las Vegas with MG, or travel in general? I took a trip to Atlantic City last weekend, and it did me good to get out and about.

Pick up at door etcetc!!!!! It's too hard too enjoy when you are suddenlyworn out in a strange place!!be proactive-have a list of meds in wallet at all times ,drs names ands #s,allergies. Give your family and close friends to have always not just now. Put ICE in cell phone Google what this is. All emergency workers know how to look on cell phone. That said have a wonderful trip!!! Hope you win $$$ if you gamble.
