As an aside, this drug can be difficult to find. It is sometimes in short supply and I've been turned down before. Also, I've had battles with my insurance company over whether or not they would pay for this therapy.
Plasma exchange seems to work best for me when my symptoms get really bad.

IVIG has helped dozens & dozens of people, here. (Hundreds, probably.) They will fill up this topic for you, with their responses.
(It does not help everyone - but it seems to help a high percentage of MG patients.) (PLEX, as well.)
We have members here, from Australia, who have lived in NZ.
I'm sure there are also people from NZ, in our support group.
They can best tell you, about medical-facilities in NZ.
IVIG is becoming more mainstream everyday, a therapy used to treat many illnesses, neurological & otherwise.
A high-profile neurologist, who specializes in MG, treating many MG patients - is who you need to see (if you aren't already).
This is the type of medical-professional, that you need to see - for any possible treatment with IVIG.
I have not had IVIG myself (although I should have, years ago).
