How many had H1N1 before MG

Since being ill with the H1N1 (Swine Flu) back in '09, I was diagnosed with Allergic Asthma, but it took another 4 years of suffering from a variety of symptoms to be diagnosed with MG. I was wondering how many others also started their MG journey with a bout of H1N1. My doctor told me she had seen others come down with autoimmune diseases, including MG after a bout of H1N1. I searched the web, but couldn't find any studies on the topicperhaps not looking in the right places.

I started having symptoms after I had a bad year with the flu. I missed a whole quarter of my eighth grade year of school because of the flu. Within about a month I started slurring my words, then double vision. I have never thought about that till now. Good question.

Beginning in 2009 the CDC made vaccines available for the H1N1 virus and many people got both the standard seasonal flu vaccine AND that H1N1 vaccine. In 2011 they were able to combine the two vaccines for convenience and compliance. I have read a couple of different articles that took issue with the H1N1 vaccine because of the increased risk of autoimmune diseases. Most of them appear to contend that it is the actual virus that causes the autoimmune responses but I'm sure it isn't too far fetched to think that the vaccines could do the same. I didn't have an infection or the vaccine until 2010 and my more severe symptoms began in 2009. So for me, it doesn't seem to jive but that doesn't mean that it was not the culprit for others. Good question also.
