I am receiving plasmapheresis every week due to the heat. Hopefully I will be able to spread it out if and when it cools off. I am just returning from 7 days in the cool Colorado mountains (sitting in the Denver airport as I type). It was heavenly! I will have actually gone 11 days between treatments this time. I think in cooler weather I could go a full 2 weeks but not much longer at this point. I told my husband that I am getting my exchange Monday and not to be surprised if I head straight to the airport to find cooler weather again. I am looking at renting a place next July-Sept in a cooler climate. My neuro reminded me to make it close to a major medical facility. It was so nice to be outdoors all day and not wilting due to the heat. If any of you know of any towns I need to consider, please let me know!
(I did find a whole lodge we all could rent in Crested Butte, Co! lol)
Take care and stay cool.
