It sounds like just about everything else with MG: most people don't have any problems if they follow the general recommendations, and then there are a few odd snowflake cases where we're not even sure what went wrong.
But you know what? Almost every time I've worried something related to this disease, one of two things has happened:
#1. Nothing bad happened.
#2. The worst problems were actually a result of my anxiety.
#2 has actually been significant. I've had symptoms get worse, and I've freaked out about them and they've gotten still worse, and then my neurologist will agree to see me, or choose to keep me on my same medications, and I'll get better (sometimes just before the appointment), probably due to the confidence I have that she makes good calls. I take it that my MG is very reactive with respect to my anxiety level.
