The heading to your post made me laugh out loud. I am sorry about your hot flashes. I'm not on prednisone but have had my share of them.

I got through menopause without hot flashes and then I went on predizone and get them all the time. I guess I didn't dodge that bullet like I thought i had.

sorry about the hot flashes. Mine only come when sleeping. My husband says we can turn the furnace off at night and let me heat the place.

My thermostat has been set at 66 since 1998 because of hot flashes. You have my understanding.
Now that Im on prednisone I keep it at 66 degrees. At home and work! No joke, I bought my boss and everyone around me cardigan sweaters this year for Christmas. I wear a polo shirt almost all the time and crry a sweater for when I have my normal moments>

A lighter weight bra helps too:)

I feel that Prednisone hot flashes are way worse then menopausel hot flashes...I swear, I sleep in wet sheets more then dry...and that Prednisone hot flashes aren't flashes, they follow you to bed and stay with you until you get up in the morning!

Wow. I've had lots of unwanted side effects from prednisone but hot flashes aren't one of them. Sorry to hear it.
