I take 540mg mestinon per day (had to get out the calculator for that one). The fasciculations don't seem related to when I take the mestinon. Like B said, sometimes they increase as my dose wears off. Makes you wonder.
So glad that is working for you. In general medications should be taken exactly as prescribed, but doctors don't seem to know that we have this much trouble with cramping with changing blood levels of medication. For me the bigger the drop, the worse the cramping, so I don't do well with Timespan since it wears off before I would usually awaken, and I certainly awaken unusually when that 180 drops off. b.
