Myasthenia Gravis Support Group
Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular disease leading to fluctuating muscle weakness and fatiguability. The hallmark of myasthenia gravis is muscle weakness that increases during periods of activity and improves after periods of rest. Something simalar to your zip lock idea. My bedroom and master bath and laundry is upstairs.
I have a small back pack that before I go downstairs for the day I put anything I might need in it. Sweater, tylenol, hair brush, touch up make up,even my iron:)
Saves me my normal 10 trips up and down the stairs which is very exhausting now.
I want to comment on one thought: "Don't put things away that you will need within the next 24 hours or so..."
I have expanded on this concept. I now have a one-year horizon: If I'm apt to use some item within the next YEAR, I will leave it accessible. This includes lawnmowers, motorcycles, camping gear, cameras, tripods, paint and brushes, car jacks and extra tires, etc.
Now, of course, I stumble over motorcycle parts and paraphernalia on my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I can't find any of my camping gear because it's piled underneath my fishing equipment. I live in a state of mayhem. My oldest son told me he's calling horders.com on me and I could really use some help from Heloise.
While that might seem kinda funny to some, a lot of it is true...

The days of tucking in the bed sheets are over.
Since dropping the hair dryer on my head last week I'm considering a cut that I can scrunch and go.
I'm a tad neurotic about keeping the bathrooms clean; now I keep a spray bottle with a mixture of rubbing alcohol & water and spray throughout the day thereby eliminating the need for harsh cleansers and the scrubbing that goes along with it.
My kingdom for kitchen drawers instead of cupboards!
I recently purchased a clothes steamer. Saves the need to haul out my heavy old ironing board.
Cheers to the crock-pot!

I make no trips for a single purpose. Carry things to where they'll be needed later as I go or at least put them closer. Or I'll do chores like dishes while I'm waiting on my dogs to potty.
I have a few of those small shopping baskets with handles that l can use to take room to room, put in and take out as you go throughout the house.
I wish my house was less cluttered, but l seem to live with people who like there stuff close at hand, so l have learn to live with that.
Have a dishwasher
Make sure all kitchen paraphernalia can go in it.
Yay for slow cookers , have a stool in the kitchen that's just the right height,to sit and prepare meals ,and if you can one in the bathroom for when your doing hair/makeup.
One for mums, l would prepare a weeks worth of lunches on a Sunday minus some things that wouldn't keep, in ziplock bags would be morning/afternoon teas,in the pantry in the fridge would be again in bags or containers lunch items, kids learnt to take one from each lot each day.it also meant on my own bad days l had ready made things at hand.

Sounds good, but didn't work on my wife either. LOL

It is so good to hear from you! I have been following you on your blog, book, and YouTube videos. You have provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experience. You were not doing so well after your most recent PLEX. Now that you have had a few days, is your breathing and strength any better.
You are in my prayers.
Sully
