Do u have a theory about what caused ur remission?

(I'll state here that I don't like to write the way that some teenagers do when they send text messages and instant messages; it's just that Daily Strength only allows so much space for the topic.)

We've been having a discussion about what we think may have caused our myasthenia gravis:

To those of you who have had remission, or even just a substantial lessening of symptoms: what do you think caused it?

I believe life of stress and doing too much caused my over active ammune system. That is my personal belief. Too much of caring for others and not enough focus on my well being. I am better now but my whole attitude and life and treatment have helped.

Eleven weeks of prednisolone 40mgs eod possibly with help from vitamin D 60 micrograms a day put me into a symptom free state. Straigtforward simple response to prompt medication.

I was actually having one of the best years of my life when I began having my first MG symptoms. Very little stree and lots of fun with famliy and friends.

In April I had 5 plex treatments and then had 2 weeks of almost being symptom free!

The plex stopped and my symptoms came back strong again.

Im getting plex again and hope this will get me strong again. Ill let you know :)
