I have noticed an increase in the tendency to have foot cramps over the last few months. If I point my toes I'm likely to start a cramp in motion. It doesn't seem related to my mestinon as I vary my dose from 30 to 60mg as needed and I seem to have the cramping regardless of the dose.

I have also had horrible abdominal muscle spasms in the last year. I would rate the pain at a 10. I wouldn't call it a cramp, I would call it a sustained spasm across my whole abdominal area that lasts about 5 minutes....can hardly take a breath, can't move. If it lasted any longer, I would have to call an ambulance. Simply horrible. The docs can't seem to explain it when I mention it to them.
The first time it happened was when I first started mestinon, shortly after taking the dose. The other 3 times was not close to mestinon dose. The last one happened recently and started at night, in bed, with a foot cramp, then to my abdomen. It does sound metabolical doesn't it. Any ideas?

I wish us all peace in our lives.
Best wishes,

Magnesium relaxes muscles and any supplement would not be good for people with MG. There is magnesium in many foods we eat already as well.
