Myasthenia Gravis Support Group
Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a neuromuscular disease leading to fluctuating muscle weakness and fatiguability. The hallmark of myasthenia gravis is muscle weakness that increases during periods of activity and improves after periods of rest. Although myasthenia gravis may affect any voluntary muscle, muscles that control eye and eyelid movement, facial expression, and...
"“Much of what we put forth in the guidance communication is common sense, “but it is important to highlight, to ensure that physicians and patients aren't panicked due to lack of data or misinformation,” said Richard J. Nowak, MD, assistant professor of neurology at Yale University School of Medicine, and a member of the International Mg/COVID Working Group, which collaborated to develop the guidelines."
On a personal level I guess the message is that if things do change and the stability currently enjoyed should change, then it's time to go back and read the report in a different light, and as always discuss such as this with your own neurologist.
Thanks for posting Russ.
"In the present case of 2019-nCoV, virus isolates or samples from infected patients have so far not become available to the international public health community. We report here on the establishment and validation of a diagnostic workflow for 2019-nCoV screening and specific confirmation, designed in absence of available virus isolates or original patient specimens. Design and validation were enabled by the close genetic relatedness to the 2003 SARS-CoV, and aided by the use of synthetic nucleic acid technology."

When they say "genetic close relatedness", it was less than 80% close and that is what it is testing for. For reference, humans are 99.4% genetically close to humans.

I think Typhoid they had not recovered yet and were spreading so virus is still live. Kind of like you can spread the measles after you vaccine for a few days. That is what happened in Disneyland a few years back.
So much money in all of this...now we have people being diagnosed based on symptoms and people testing positive for a genetic reaction to some sort of physical stress and all of the draconian measures that will come with it
The CDC says the virus has been isolated (several months ago).
I found this from the CDC
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/lab/grows-virus-cell-culture.html
"ARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, was isolated in the laboratory and is available for research by the scientific and medical community.
One important way that CDC has supported global efforts to study and learn about SARS-CoV-2 in the laboratory was by growing the virus in cell culture and ensuring that it was widely available. Researchers in the scientific and medical community can use virus obtained from this work in their studies."

I see this test being the cause of a lot of trouble and doctors are even diagnosing on symptoms only as well. The test sequences to confirm what it gives as negative were minimal, all things considered. There are so many RNA viruses. and things that cause their endless list of symptoms excluding no symptoms. Russ, maybe you are the guy to show me the light, because the death counts are very much manipulated. Could get in a car accident or have terminal illness and test positive for.covid and it is counted as covid. Hospitals make more to say this and ass this to report so it is counted. Make more with a death involving ventilators and so on...
It just stinks to high heaven to me. Vast majority dying is over 65 with comorbidities

Everyone wants to criticize big pharma which is surprising since it’s keeping most mgers functioning. I’ve worked 30 years in big pharma and there is nothing sinister there believe me. People work really hard to deliver medicine to prolong people’s lives. I can’t speak to the business end of it which is what people have the problem with.
I am also a confirmed Covid 19 recovered person with MG and it did nothing to the MG. Likely different for every person but husband a doctor and son a nurse so I’m well taken care of. Just did a lot of deep breathing exercises Took walks to prevent it from settling in the bottom of my lungs and kept track of my pulse ox day and night. , All instructions from an ER doctor. My Son works at Thomas Jefferson philadelphia in the icu and he said most bad outcomes were older and overweight.
Doctors at my neurology clinic all extremely interested in my experience because not many MGers they know of with it. In fact they were shocked it did nothing to the MG.
I am glad you posted. You are the first MGer I have have heard of who has had Covid-19. Interesting to know that it didn't affect your MG symptoms.
Of course, as with the rest of MG, we could all have different experiences Are you seropositive and are you on immunosuppressants?

I believe many of us with MG would test positive for Covid-19. I addressed the fact that the virus sequence is all over. and all used the PCR test to verify after isolation. The RT PCR test looks to be simple and shouldn't be used for serious stuff. Genetic material for cancer research etc, yes. Infectious disease no.
Our bodies are full of viruses that cause no harm. Bases on my research and what others are saying much smarter than I show how it could be exosomes, which can carry RNAs etc. Cant believe anyone, especially in the medical profession can ignore what has been going on. I knew this wouldn't be popular and I do appreciate the discussion.
I wish MG would go away for all of us. MG is terrible. Just no other way to put it. Especially when involving our breathing. Everyone stay stress free and try to exercise.. Maybe we get a cure one day, but more likely we need MG to go away. No more MG for anyone!
I got to this line "Mullis did not believe what the mainstream, globalist elite-funded, science is claiming that the HIV retrovirus is causing the AIDS disease.."
Although I had some pretty altered mental functioning and confusion on prednisone and other meds, luckily paranoia is not one of them yet. And as I function pretty darn well with big pharma meds in my 73rd year, I am not particularly bothered by their research.
When I worked in research at Mayo. we were often testing big pharma drugs and never pulled our punches as to their efficacy or dangers. We did double-blind studies and told it like it was. Big pharma does get its impetus to create new drugs from the profit motive, and I am not particularly bothered by that either as it is the only reason why MG drugs are being created.
