That means we should really go see our regular doctor and let them figure out what we should do.
My neuro said that everything I got when I was on prednisone and still had MG bad meant I should see the doctor rather than try to self-medicate. So you should really do that, as if you do have some infection, your body will not get rid of it without some help.
My regular doctor would do the diagnosis and then call my MG neuro and ask about the treatment. That collaboration made me confident that what I got prescribed was OK for MG. I asked her to make the connection, as it was much easier for a doctor to consult with another doctor. Other times I just called the MG neuro's service (usually a nurse) and asked what to do and the service or neuro would get back to me within a day or less. It is pretty hard to get in to see a neuro and so the indirect connections were easier to make.
Good Luck
