I can't speck much on CBD oil, but I have been consuming THC for many years with my MG. It does not affect my MG at all. It helps me sleep and reduces my stress a lot. I have taken breaks, consumed large amounts daily no difference to the MG.
No person is the same.
Prednisone, Mestinon and Cellcept keep me going and the THC helps me deal with these better.

I did try CBD oil, in a variety of doses, and it it didn't seem to make a difference in my day.
I also tried cannabis, with a variety of CBD and THC strengths. I found that the combination helped me to feel "Brighter". I do use a small amount daily, usually in the late afternoon. It seems to provided some additional energy and reduce stress. I have discussed my small usage with my PCP and Neuro. Neither condone the use, as both are VA physicians, but also feel that the minor usage does not interfere with my med regimen - IVIG monthly, Imuran, Prednisdone, and Mestinon daily.
The usage of CBD these days is popular in the treatment of all kinds of things but it's effect varies among people. Some have wonderful results others have little to none.

For this alcoholic in recovery, I was also very concerned that the usage might lead me back to alcohol usage but this has not occured.
I did a fair bit of research regarding the effectiveness of cannabis specifically related to neuromuscular disorders and autoimmune disorders but there is not much research out there. The US government has not allowed cannabis research so data is scarce in both application(s) and dosage.
