CBD and myasthenia

I tried CBD oil from a reputable source featured on the Today Show. Strangely (I guess due to advertising),  I was really worried it was a powerful thing and started at a very low dose and slowly doubled it until I was at recommended dose. No change...Nada, Nothing... to any body system. Slowly kept increasing above base recommended dose and used for 3 months which was very expensive. Still...nothing. I have a friend who tried a different brand for rheumatoid arthritis but she reported no help or harm either. But I’m wondering if our experience is the same as others. Any one here try it?

All I know is if it isn't recommended for pregnant women I wouldn't use it.
I used restasis in my eyes and it set me back a year. Anything can negatively impact us.

I tried it for awhile over a year ago.... Saw absolutely NO positive results for myself and ended up on prednisone a few months later.

Thanks so much Bluejay96! There’s so much hype around CBD I was almost expecting to be able to walk on water...lol. It’s good to know others have had the same experience. It was a waste of money but lesson learned.

From my experience, there is no change for the better as it relates to MG.

However, CBD can help to help prevent/reduce cancer odds due to the antitumor effects. I see no harm in it other than the effects of THC. Not a bad idea to supplement if one can afford. Need to understand the dosages though because some are very weak and expensive. Know what you are buying...

We tried it on my legs for a while....have nerves tingling, and some pains that starts in my toes and travels up the back of my leg and ends just above my knee. We haven't used it lately, but I sure miss the massages. :-)

We know many people that swear by it and others nada.

Our bodies are all different and do not respond the same way to all drugs.

I have a friend that produces CBD products for their own use and their main focus is on cancer. They did not know much about it's use in autoimmune diseases.

I also used CBD for the pain, but it helped me. Maybe it's because you don't believe in success? I also have arthritis and have used three miniature products to help, relax and revitalize based on CBD oil. The effect I have noticed since my pain is gone, at least for a time. I also tried a cooling gel with CBD, which perfectly relieves muscle pain and joint pain not for a couple of minutes, but for several hours. I think you just have to believe in success, then there will be a result. I always do, it all depends on my mood. Don't think about how much it costs, think about what it will help you.
