Her comment made me realize i cannot go as if nothing is wrong with me even though i have the energy to do more, my body cannot keep up and i need to listen to it. (i walked over 7 miles a day on vacation,(site sighing) and it did me in, when i got back to texas) ..i guess there is nothing to do but stop and rest when you get that burning sensation. Let me know if you find out another solution because i dont like to slow down...lol
By all means if you can walk, and work out. Do it. Exercising keeps your muscles healthy, it improves heart health, blood circulation and cleanses the lymphatic system and so much more...
Plan out your exercise about an hour after you take your Mestinon so that you're at your best for a good productive work out. Rest when you need to. But keep going when you can. Try to have a good sweat too. Dress yourself if sweat shirts and long pants if you want to, if you're comfortable with that. The lymphatic system is the most important way to cleanse the body - and toxins are released through sweat (that's why antiperspirants are no good - but that's a different story)
Please stay active. Norma, I applaud you for walking so much. For the most part, the burning in the muscles sounds like they just had a work out. I LOVE that feeling when the muscles are burning. At my weakest I walked with my husband, arm in arm but just kept going.... Just make it exciting and fun and trust your body ;) good luck.
