I think a call to your neuro is in order. Maybe he/she will decrease your dose or change your med. I had bad side effects when I first started taking it, now I am fine with it. Good luck!

Drake, your symtom of sweating is most likely not due to the Azathioprine, sweating is often a side effect of MG and autonomic dysfunction which often accompanies MG.

The cold sores and chills midget be a sign that you are having issues with the effects of Azathioprine on your white blood cells, I would certainly give your neuro a call soon.

When was the last time you had your blood drawn to check on your blood levels. With Azathioprine that should be done every 3 months,

Drake I forgot to mention that Mestinon is also known to make us sweat a lot. Are you taking Mestinon?

That's good you had a recent blood check, it should be checked every 3 or 4 months at the longest.

I am on 200 mg Azathioprene as well, for two months now. Also 2 Mestinon slow release. I've noticed plenty of sweating, also emotions seem dampened. Good luck to you.

I had nausa when I was on it. Using Cell Cept now.

That's what I wanted before he put me on Azathioprine . It will cost me more but it's better.
