I have generalized seronegative MG and am currently taking Mestinon, prednisone, and Plex every 10 days. About two days after my first Moderna shot, some of my MG symptoms, mostly weakness, fatigue, and double vision acted up for about 5 days. I was surprised -- I hadn't expected my body to react after the first injection. However, I knew what was going on and just weathered the MG symptoms. I am looking forward to having my second Covid shot. If my body reacts again with a temporary exacerbation of the MG symptoms (hope not), that's a trade I am willing to make.
If you don't mind, please let us know how you are doing in a few days.

@Nanosecond, I too was doing everything to stay safe and let my guards down for exactly 20 minutes with my son who stopped by to see my husband with mask on us all. My husband never tested positive. Goes to show just how vulnerable we all are.

The purpose of a vaccine is to create an immune response.
An autoimmune response is your immune system responding to YOUR OWN body, not to a vaccine. Talk to your doctor as you need some help understanding this..
My friend told me today as she is on immune suppression for lupus, her vaccine failed to work as it ha d no immune system response. She took an antibody test and it showed none were produced..
Not gassed about your friend's antibody test results. :-)
Seeing my Neuro this Thurs AM. Will run this past him and see what he says.
