Diagnosed in 2002. Almost lost my entire life due to prednisone. Had a thymectomy; hoping... Other than the fact that I hate pain, this disease has put a new perspective on life. Everyday I hear about or see on some social media site, some person doing extraordinary things, and they are far off worse than I currently am. Did I mention that I have new perspective on life? I wake up everyday and think... maybe one day I'll do something extraordinary. Truthfully, I hate this disease, lets be real.
It is also good to think about doing ordinary things and having ordinary days--they are what most of us live for, and a happy life comes from making the ordinary days special by enjoying them.
