My infusions have been pretty uneventful. But three weeks ago I had that happen AFTER my infusions (the first day when I got home and the second day when I was leaving the center). It felt like REALLY bad heartburn (took my breath away bad). It was scary and they could not explain why and told me to try a benedryl, which seemed to work.
This round I took benedryl at the beginning of my IVIG and four hours later both days and did not have that happen again.
I also had potassium infused prior to my IVIG all of these times and wondered if it was from that... I share your experience, but can't explain it!
