have a son with a hearing loss. Most people have no idea because he doesn't sound deaf. He covers it very well. Teachers have gotten angry with him before until I have told them that he only has twentyfive percent of his hearing.
made sure his coaches knew though even though he didn't want me to. I didn't want them yelling at him or even kicking him off the team.
I think we have these trials for a purpose, that they are taylor made. My son is one of my heros, because he is not a complainer, but has learned to do something very uncomfortale for him.
To explain to others when he needs to so his life can be better and so that they can learn also. I am a firm believer that if we keep all these lessons inside and not share them, when we feel like we can, that we are in a weird way being stingy, with wisdom that we could share.
Although, don't listen to me because I always share too much and end up opening mouth and inserting size 13 foot. LOL
