My personal opinion: they started you off at nice, measured rates, but then went way too high.
There are a lot of us here, who receive infusions, IVIG and others.
I get the general impression, from postings here, that anything over 300ml is gonna cause problems of some kind.
I have received the 350 rate, and my arm breaks out in a sort of rash.
I watch my infusion nurses, and don't allow any rate over 250.
I weigh 175, and my 1100ml infusion takes pretty much 6 hrs.
There are some people here, who can only tolerate 50ml.
It's an individual thing, these rates. But don't allow a higher rate, if you don't want it. You'll get more savvy, as you go along.
Not bossy, just savvy. Maybe that's a good motto, for IV Therapy patients.
Congratulations! It sounds like you did well, all things considered.

I start at 30 and never go above 120. After 2 1/2 years, I'm having normal weeks, not just normal days. My dosage has always been 25 grams, which is low. Looking back, maybe it should have been higher but it made my liver enzymes go too high.
Last infusion I felt like superwoman!
Megan, don't look when they do the needle. It's really quick. Go to your happy place
