I know that others will reply and I have read here many times that it can. I have not been diagnosed so can't say for myself.

Like cause an exacerbation of symptoms? Absolutely! I live with 2 little balls of viruses. Most viruses I have gotten have just caused more weakness and fatigue but I one time had a GI bug (vomiting etc) which totally wiped me out an caused another round of respiratory problems for which I had to get PLEX. Again...most viruses haven't been too bad - but definitely some problems associated!
If you are sick - I hope you get better fast!

Any stress can make MG worse and for us it is not only the illness but an infection causes the immune system to make new antibodies (hopefully only to the virus). If it is bacterial and you need antibiotics, most of them can be a problem in MG.

Hope everything is alright. I would like to suggest that all viruses may not affect your MG. It would depend on some things. So, a "simple" virus would need to be explained further. A cold? absolutely.
