With MS, I have learned to accept many things.
Having optic neuritis take away my career as a videographer was a hard thing to accept. But I have accepted most everything.
But I have a really hard time not crying when someone says to me, "I can't understand you, stop mumbling."
Not strangers, but family. My dad is the worse. I have repeatedly told him when I talk like this I can't help it, it's the MS, which leads to an eye roll from him, he just does not get it.
As someone who prided herself on her ability to speak in front of people and who did community theatre, I find this symptom to be a hard one to accept.

My husband has been telling me I mumble for years, but he also says that I need to look directly at him when I'm speaking to him so I think that part really IS his hearing. lol
