I've had this happen twice in the last week, when I was thinking one thing and something else completely came out of my mouth. Especially, when talking to myself (which I do quite a bit) I was looking at my hair in the mirror and made a comment about my hair which came out something like this, "Hmm, I should dye my car." I meant, "I should dye my hair!" I wish I could think of the other example, but it was something equally weird. What the heck? I know that's gotta be something mis-firing in the ol' synapses...but that could really get goofy...Anyone? anything similar?

I've told my kids to finish their pajamas so they can put on their breakfast... All my neuro has to say is 'are you busy?' well, duh, but this definately happens more than it used to. Luckily nothing too embarrassing so far - you'll have to re-tell that one Feisty.

*LOL* cannot top Fiesty's one. It is common thing amongst us.........I said the other day more than once to my husband would you like some pineapple.............sounds normal doesn't it but I was meaning popcorn. I do it a lot.

I told my son to get in the toilet instead of the bathtub tonight. :-) I do this all the time. When I was interviewing for jobs recently, I spoke slowly and tried to form the words in my head before they came out. I was terrified I would say that I was a good dancer instead of a good writer or something worse. This is the part of MS that scares me a little. Ok. A lot of it scares me a little but this makes me worry about other people thinking I'm crazy.

Happens to me all the time...no wonder no one could understand me when I was interpreting...I don't think anyone is going to top Feisty's though....sooooo funny!!

I knew it was a MS thing because I do it all the time. I amuse myself everytime I do it, particularly when I'm trying to use pronouns.
I reverse "you" and "me," and say "he" when I meant to say "she." There's a short circuit in my brain.

Ohhh mannnn, I just laughed so hard at Feisty, I had go pee & smoke before I could even respond.

Once, [sorry if I have already relayed this incident] while playing keep-away in the water, boys against girls, I jumped up, caught the nerf football & screamed: "INTERCOURSE!" instead of 'interception!'

So, do ya'll think my MS was 'coming out' when I was 12?

Ok J...you and I shall host a very fun dinner party. White gloves, champagne, Penis, and INTERCOURSE!

We can serve "Lion Meat" for the main course. LOL. No I'm not telling that story again.

I remember the Lion Meat story! It was so funny. You really should retell it, Feisty. I remember telling it to my husband and he thought it was hilarious too. Isn't it great that there is a humorous side to MS?

I, too, have mixed up words, but not so often that it concerns me. I think that a lot of the time I just have too much to do or haven't gotten enough sleep and the words get mixed up. Then again...

I definitely want an invite to the dinner party!

I will bring an Irish jig! LOL (See recent post.)
I also make a pretty mean Irish Cream. It is absolutely scrumptious. One drink is just not enough!

No, I'm not Irish...maybe just a tad, but I do love my homemade Irish cream. Too bad I can't dance as well as I make Irish cream.
