Does anyone here ever have difficulty when they sneeze? While this question may seem VERY bizarre, I have been having pretty SEVERE responses when I sneeze.
If I sneeze, (which maybe happens once a month), the body's normal reaction is to instantly swallow...It's like a muscle response. BUT...when I swallow it triggers another sneeze....which triggers another swallow and then another sneeze...over and over. These episodes have lasted as long as 20 minutes or more. The problem is I can't catch my breath in between these reactions and I start to choke. As you might imagine, my eyes also start to water...which makes the nose drain more...thus drawing out the episode even longer.
This happens EVERY time I sneeze and it is VERY frustrating. Anybody care to comment?
Thanks.

Sneezing is not a problem for me but perhaps this article I just noticed may help? https://www.doctorshealthpress.com/general-health-articles/i-cant-stop-sneezing-home-remedies-for-constant-sneezing/

I have this EXACT problem too! I have been searching the internet and this thread is the ONLY info I could find. Sneezing/sneezing sensation WHILE swallowing, only occurs after previous sneezing... lol. Not after but during, Swallowing literally triggers the sneeze & its simultaneous, and really really hard to pull off without feeling a little panicky especially since it's a vicious cycle that continues over & over!!

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
