Weird face problems. Help please.

Ok, new symptom tonight.

My face is all screwy. Feel tight, kinda numbish. It looks a little droopy, but not much, but it is not one sided, it is both. It feels very droopy though. It is very hard to smile. Like gravity is working against me.

Is his an MS issue or a side effect of Topamax. I know it can be an MS issue, but has anyone had issues with Topamax doing this?

I started Topamax and my hands feel numbish too.

About a month ago I woke up with the right side of my face numb then it slowly moved across to the left until it was all numb. Even my toungue...I'm not on meds so I just attribute it to the lesion on my spinal cord. Hope you feel better!

I know numbness goes with MS but my daughter is on topamax and that is when her numbness started. I know a nurse that is on topamax and she says that it causes numbness and small tremors for her.

I had only taken 15 mg for 3 nights before this happened, so unsure if its that or not. But such a coincidence, but I am having some serious MS issues right now too. Since I was just starting and on such a low does, I can't taper off, so I am stopping to see if it improves.

I can't be on medicine if it does this. It is literally difficult to smile, and I have 2 girls that makes it hard to not smile. :D

I was on Topamax for years and did not experience this, the only side effect I had was weight loss:). My right eye is droopy, some days worse than others.. The funny thing is it went away for a while after a steroid treatment.
It's so hard to figure out what's a side effect, what's MS.
