I'm sure this has been posted about by someone else before but I just heard about it yesterday. My boyfriend's mom clipped an article out of the paper for me.
It's an aide to help with foot drop. A band is strapped around your calf and then an electrical impulse is sent to your brain to make your foot lift whenever it is moved back. A lot of people are reporting that the aide has helped them strengthen their muscles in their legs so much that they only need to wear the strap part time.

I am using the walk aide. It is great. It helps me not get so tired as I struggle to walk, is increasing the flexibility in my ankle joint, and is strengthening my muscles in my leg and hip. My aunt purchased it for me. Insurance does not cover the device. I think it is worth every penny. I teach PE and want to stay active and employed in what I love to do. One day, when I first got the device, I was rushing through Target and getting grumpy that people were in my way. I had to laugh and be joyful because I usually am the slow walker and in other peoples way. It is worth checking out.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
