Upper, Inner thigh pain???

Hey guys!

Here's a strange one. I have been having pain in my upper, inner thighs as high as they go (yes, embarrasingly "right there") and it does HURT. It hurts when I walk, it hurts when I sit, it hurts when I sleep. It especially hurts when my husband and I have sex. Actually I sometimes simply want to say "no" but I had decided when I married this man that he was the spiritual leader in our home and the head of the household. I have never, ever told him "no" about sex. But I literally grit my teeth during this. I will sometimes get an intense headache from the pain. Has anyone else ever had to deal with this? This is a new symptom for me. I have had it for about 3 months now and at first just thought it was from sleeping wrong or something. Now I know better. I just got through with a bath earlier and of course all the symptoms have to start up again. Sometimes I think that is why I subconsciously hate taking baths and showers now when I used to love them.

Anyway, if anyone experiences this please let me know. Hopefully I will be seeing a MS Specialist neuro soon. My opthalmologist recommended I see one today and my internal med doc did back in July. So at least I have 2 docs who both think something "weird is going on" as my silly, goofy eye doc put it! He's so funny! I told him about my meatloaf and he said "Oh man, I love meatloaf so much my mouth is watering right now." Oh I wish you guys had been there, it was so hilarious!!! :-D

Well, you and I must be on the same wavelength because I also get this. I have described it as almost being in the pubic bone region. It's not internal, but external, and it's very painful. Like you, I am finding it in the upper thighs (which could be muscular pain) and then in the pelvic region. I had a hysterectomy so it's not uterine type of pain. I find that it gets really bad when I do a lot of walking. Also very painful when I try to get up from a seated position.

Hi bledpub, I am so sorry to hear about your precious little sweetie and all that she already has to go through in this world. It must be very very hard on you having to see her go through all that. I dont know if I mentioned it in my last post or not but I am so thankful for you that your fiance is coming from England to marry you! Just having him with you will give you so much more strength to deal with your baby girl and her issues and also to deal with the issues you are facing. May God bless you dear girl, your precious daughter and the young man who is about to become your husband. I wish you ALL a wonderful happy life together, may your storms ahead be just gentle squalls, may the road to and from home be downhill always, and may the angelic smile reflected on your little lasses face have the special power to lift both of yours in smiles as well....Irish (born American....but really Irish) BTW...I love Wales and Scotland!

Thanks, Irish. We're actually married now. We came over together when I finished my MA in Wales. He is a great guy and my rock. We've been through a lot together.

The little one is a trooper. I had a partial placetal abruption at around 21 weeks and they told me that she would probably be born that night and "maybe" live "a couple of hours." Well, she held in there and was full term. She's really a fighter!

HA!! Doctors and their doomsday spiels!!! Look at those bright eyes!! That girl is gonna defy the odds and when she grows up she will be the strongest and most beautiful (inside and out) child that anyone who knows her will ever know!!!! You just mark my words. Usually when I say that "mark my words" it comes true. You know us Irish we have a touch of a 6th sense. My mom has predicted the sex of over 200 babies and every single one of them was correct....(except for me!). Keep up the great work and my prayers are with you always! Irish

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
