I was in limbo for a number of years, and finally after monitoring me, the MS specialist said, no you do not have MS. Well oddly, I have returned to his clinic but seeing another partner. I had to leave due to insurance reasons and it really helped to have another set of eyes. Again, the MS was brought up as a possibility, but already had move past wanting a diagnosis. Finally they saw the "classic MS" lesions, although, like you I had many ..just not the right shape in the right places.
So be prepared that you may not have MS but still they could treat your symptoms. At least my first MS doc did that for me.
And YES you need minerals, most of us do. Potassium, magnesium Vit D and B12 all you can get over the counter. It really makes a difference. Have your PCP get your values for Vit D and B 12. Mine was very low and I didn't even notice.
Also, during the time I was in limbo, I got several other disorders diagnosed that may have been missed if I got the MS diagnosis at first. So things can happen for a reason.
Know that if you have MS, it will show..trust that. It may take awhile. And they have to rule out many many others mimics and such first.
Hang in there hon
Warmly, Jan
