Hey Bon, I started watching the video but realised I had seen it before on TV a few years back. Lake Tahoe looks like a beautiful place to have lived.

It's probably worth mentioning this to your neuro as you were in the area around that time. Sometimes environmental factors contribute to a lot of things (including where we have lived) and we just don't realise. If you mention your concerns then they should look into it for you and hopefully put your mind at ease about it.

I don't believe this is a coincidence. This is what could be what contributed to your problem.

This goes along with what I believe causes MS. I believe that MS along with all the other auto immune diseases, skin ailments, asthma, etc. are caused by environmental factors.

I agree with Tallie86. Definitely mention it, but as the CDC has dismissed it, keep in mind that your doctor could have a similar reaction. Personally I think MS is something (something connected to the Epstein-Barr virus) that stays latent in us until a trigger sets it off. In my case, I think the stress to my body caused by my second pregnancy (maybe combined with something like a low vitD level?? or something similar?) could have been the trigger.

I will mention it to my neuro, just to see her reaction. Very interesting stuff. (((hugs)))

Anne8 - I couldn't agree more about MS staying latent in our systems. It doesn't make sense all the little symptoms I had for years and then in the past 3 years it's exploded to take over every minute of every day.

My neuro says that the MS related fatigue IS CFS. Do others hear the same from their docs??
And they say in the video, that it lays dormant for years until there is a trigger...........I believe that one day they WILL find the same thing with MS. I have to wonder if they could look at brain scans of all of us when we were young girls, if there would not be a common attribute in those of us that went on to be dx'd? And I feel certain that triggers play a huge part (as does my neuro). My MS was completely "ignorable" until I spent a year fighting a life threatening post-op MRSA infection of my bone marrow. The infection was dealt with the best it can be...........but I have never been the same. It completely catapulted me into the full blown world of MS. My doc said even a routing UTI can trigger it in some people.

I can't remember anything that stands out that could be a trigger, but I never felt the same after I had a goiter removed with radioactive iodine treatment, even my personality changed. Its all so weird. (((hugs)))
