Ive been taking tramadol now for over 5 years. I take 6-8 tablets a day. It cuts the edge some, I could not go without it. Ive tried percocet, loritab and opana and none of those seem to help as much as the ultram. The opana did help some. But Im wondering how many of you take so much tramadol?? My doctor says im at the maxium and to not take more than 8 a day. and im taking 6-8 a day. And, I often wonder what this is doing to my body long term. All this mediation for all these years and I dont see in my future stopping it. since i have chronic PAIN in both legs :( I would like to try the LDN, since i stopped taking copaxone over a year ago but you cant be on any kind of pain medicine when going on LDN. I tried to go off tramadol one time and only made it 4 days and at that point I was screaming mad and in agony for pain relief.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
When I was in hospital recently they were trying to get me off morphine etc rhey put me on fentanyl patches. It lasts 3 days & took about 2 or 3 before they really kicked in but now all I need to take is panadol & occasionaly at night after bad pain I have resorted to a tramadol. That has been because I just had a procedure to insert the suprapubic catheter so was in pain. I didnt think they would work but my pain is under control more than not, my legs are not constant pain etc.
Well worth asking your dr about & giving them a try. The first one kicked in 2nd day & not much 3rd. The 3rd one kicked in pretty quick & pain broke through by 3rd day but the next one & from then on have basically lasted. Remember I was in hospital at this time with a lot of health issues so was quite surprised.
Just an idea that might be worth considering.
