Hi Guys!
1st I want to start by saying a HUGE THANKS TO DAVE for posting for me!!! I really appreiate that!
My computer was messed up when the Tornado hit, & I haven't been able to type with the keyboard on it! I have had to use the onscreen keyboard & scroll & click, & scroll & click! I just went to WM & bought a little cheapy keyboard to plug into the lap top! And, a lady give me the name & number of her brother who can work on & fix them & he is going to come by this weekend & get my laptop working right! So another blessing there! This make take a little time to say so sorry!
Friday night I was hit with a TORNOADO! I was in the direct path of it! It came from wherever & came through a field across the road from the end of my driveway! Where it hit a MH that belonged to my neighbor, picked it up, twirled it & thew it back down on the ground & smashed it to pieces. There was a house directly across from it at the end of my drive, & when it hit the MH it diverted it just enough to miss that house, but just enough to send it straight up my driveway!
It came straight up my long driveway to my house & went through the front of my house & the trees in the front! There were 2 large cedars in the front to the right front of my house & were directly behind my paneled fencing that I have there for my dogs! It uprooted them & thew them on the front rt of my house!
Where it peeled back my roof as it laid the two large trees on it! My living room ceiling has caved into my living room the next morning/day when the Sheriff's work crew came by to take them off for me. They sawed the trees up & put them on the other side of my driveway, & put the tin back down, but were unable to nail it down. They were going to saw up the other huge trees for me but they got called on to the next EM!
The guy, when he learned of my situtation called the main Cheif & told him & he told him to have me to call him & that he will send the guys back out here to finish sawing up the trees & that they will then put them on some trucks or whatever & then haul them out of here for me! I do hope so because that is one huge pile of trees!!! And, there's no way that I can haul it out of here.
The RED CROSS stopped by after that to give me some gloves & a bucket of some kind of shit to clean up with & then preceeded to tell me that it was my house & my property & therefore it was my responsibility to take care of all of the mess & to clean it up, NOT THEIRS!!! But they were gracious enough to give me some bucket of shit & two pairs of gloves to do it with!!!
WELL!!!!! THANK YOU RED CROSS!!!! AFTER ALL WHAT THE HELL WOULD I DO WITH HUGE TREES DOWNED ALL OVER MY PROPERTY & HOUSE & A HOLE IN MY LIVING ROOM CEILING & A ROOF THAT NEEDS REPAIRED W/O YOUR DAMNED BUCKET OF SHIT & TWO PAIRS OF GLOVES! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR THAT, IT DID SOO MUCH FOR CLEANING UP ALL THOSE TREES & PUTTING A NEW DAMNED ROOF & CEILING ON MY HOUSE! THOUGH I DID USE THE GLOVES!!! GO F YOURSELF RED CROSS!!!
Then, a reporter stoped by from the Knox News Sentinal! She was sooooo sooooo nice!!! Just amazing!!! She stayed for a long time talking with me! She got to know me as a person, & not just as a Tornado victim! She told me that I should write a book about my life, & that if anybody ever deserved to have one written about them it was ME! And, she then said that I deserved to have a NEW ROOF! And, that not only that I deserved to have a new house!!! And, that in fact! I deserved to have a mansion for all that life had done to me, & now this on top of it all!!!
She said that she had seen a lot of people get a lot of shit & many who didn't deserve any of it! And, she said that if anybody deserved to have things done for them, it was surely me! She said that it was damned time that the world took notice of me & that people did some damned good things for me! She said, Honey!!! You deserve to have soooo many things done for you! You deserve a mansion, & manay many other things! She also said that she for one wanted to work on calling in some favors to see if she couldn't make some of that happen for me!!!
She said that this one guy that had a crew of guys cleaned up places--trees, etc... & did construction stuff, & that he owed her a favor & that she was going to call it in! She is going to ask him to give me a new roof & to not only that but to totally clean up my propery of all trees! She's going to ask him to take down all the other big trees & to get rid of them for me & to clean out my property line!
She loved my dogs!!! And, thought that it was great that I have them! She is a dog groomer on the side!!! :) She would like to get him or some contractor to build me a new house all together! So I don't know what will happen with all of that, but it was sure nice having her say all of that & taking reconition of all that I have been through!!! And, to think & want me to have a ton of wonderful things done for me because she thinks that I'm deserving! IT MADE ME CRY!!!
When, she left, I THOUGHT--FINALLY! THE WORLD KNOWS I'M ALIVE! AND, FINALLY PEOPLE GIVE A DAMN!!!
In the mean time, my neighbor with the smashed MH in her front yard--a really nice lady, & mother! She has a son & she & her son were in the ajasent MH!--came over to check on me & to say HEY! 1st time she's come over & talked to me since I've been here!!! LOL It took a Tornado for us to speak & be friends! LOL She was nice & said that if I needed anything to let her know that her & her son would try to help me.
And, well, she told all the other neighbors about me & how bad things were! And, then the word quickly spread! And, next thing I know I got people pulling up in my drive way to see all the damage & to talk with me about it! One couple didn't even live on this road but were from up the way. After them seeing all of it & talking with me they told me that they would go get me something to eat & what did I want. So they went & got it & that was the 1st thing I had to eat all day Saturday! That was about 3 that I was eatting that!
Then, a crew came up while they were here & got on the roof & nailed the tin down & then put some plastic on it! WELL! THE PLASTIC GOT TOTALLY BLOWN OFF 1ST THING YESTERDAY MORNING WHEN I GOT UP TO MORE STRONG WINDS A SOME SNOW! Not much snow & didn't lay! It was extremely cold & blustery winds! Now Saturday was like sunny & in the 60's!
One of my other neighbors had came by to see me about 6, but I had FINALLY GOTTEN TO GET IN MY VAN & LEAVE & DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD A PIECE FOR TEH 1ST TIME THE NEXT DAY AFTER THE TORNADO & HAVING BEEN BOMBARDED ALL DAY & HAVING TO DEAL WITH ALL THE MESS & WITH RELIVING THE TRAUMA OVER & OVER AGAIN! Anyway!? She told me not to worry about anything to eat that they would be having super every night & that if I wanted or needed to eat to just call her & to just come on down & eat.
She also told me that she had been talking to her neighbor & that he was wanting to help me with my roof & that he was trying to get a crew of people together to come up to my place & to do my roof for me! I said, WOW!!! OMG!!! THANKS!
And, NOBODY SINCE THEN! It finally got quiet. I did not sleep at all Friday night! I was shaking so bad & was sooo nervous, & terrified that I was in hyperdrive!!! I was shaking all over & was hypervigilant checking outside, panicing at the least little thing! Yesterday, when I got up, it really freaked me out when the wind was blowing so hard & so strong & blowing stuff around! It sounded like some animal was coming in my LR through my open ceiling & that freaked me out!!! And, the wind sounded like it was ripping my roof up again & that freaked me out!
I've jumped out of my skin several times & freaked out! I'm still nervous, shaky & hypervigilant but I have calmed down tremendously since Friday & Saturday! Actually, I'm rather sedate now--from not sleeping for 3 nights & from all of endless line of many many people that came all day long Saturday, litterly one right after the other & sometimes while one was still here. And from all of the very very hard exhausting work!!!
I wanted to get all of the clean-up done Sat.. while it was sooo warm & pretty--weather wise! NOT PLACE WISE! MY PLACE WAS NOT PRETTY AT ALL!!! IT WAS TRULY A NATURAL DISASTER!!! But the weather was suddenly warm & pretty & great weather for cleaning up shit! But I couldn't get much done for the line of traffic! But I had to just deal with it all!
When the guys started sawing down the trees off of my house/roof it made my ceiling cave in! Before that, when you looked at the ceiling it looked fine! You couldn't see what was on the other side of fine??? But when it caved in my LR I could see what was there. I was outside with the guys while they were doing all of that! And, my dogs were in crates in my LR! And, with all the noice, chainsaws & excitement I HAD NO IDEAL THAT IT WAS CAVING IN WITH MY BABIES IN THERE! But they were not directly under it!!! They were on the other side. But imagine walking out the door & thinking that AT LEAST YOUR CEILING IS FINE & YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT AT LEAST!!! And, then walking back in the door to a total disaster & mess!?
Sheet rock everywhere!-Wet! Water on the floor! Soaking wet insulation hanging from the ceiling to the floor! And, tons of crap from the trees all over-not only my floor, but all over my stuff! So here I had tons of trees & debree all over my house & property to clean up, & needed to be doing that, but instead I had to stop & clean my LR--while being interupted over & over. I thought I would never get it done!? And, it took me all day!
Then, I finally got a break & got to start working on the pens, porches & yards; & I got the porches done & the pens done & started on the yard & got a little bit of it done, but then the MH neighbor came over, with her brother & brought me a bucket of KFC & a couple of sides. They had bought it for them, but just ate a bite out of it & decided to give the rest to me! And, we talked for a long time & then it was dark!
Then, I came in after all of that, & did laundry, did a bunch of dishes, swept the floors, mopped, & gave all my dogs a bath, & put on clean bed linens & then FINALLY!!! I GOT A SHOWER! I then tried to work on my computer to see if I could get it to work, or even get it do do anything!? And, I knew that I could work on it a little if only I could get into it!? So I worked on it, & FINALLY!!! I GOT INTO IT! I worked on it & got some things going!? The computer is working, cept for the KB being totally screwed up!? I can get on it! I can check my mail! Surf! But the KB is screwed up, & so I went to WM today & got a KB & a cheap can of air!
Guy said to take it apart & to blow all the dirt & dust & crap out of it!? He thinks that that might be the problem with the kb!? But then when it got wet from the tornado blowing through my house that really did it! Work in progress!
When the tornado came, I had no warning about the tornado! They said that a severe storm was out west & was headed east! They said that it had popped up & that it was moving fast, about 85 mph!!! And, that it was heading east! And, I knew that if it was flopping light poles back & forth there that if it got here that I was screwed if it did that with any or all of the trees around my house! I put up my dogs in their crates--so that I could have them all in one area, & so that they could have some semblance of saftey!?
I had their crates in my LR on the wall at my bedroom. And, I knew that I was going to lose my power so I was trying to get some much needed housework done, & was in the bathroom trying to at least get some mop water made up!? But I was keeping an ear out on the news & on the weather! I had my windows cracked about 6 inches from the top so that I could hear!
Well, I HEARD!!! SUDDENLY THE WIND HIT WITH INCREDIBLE FORCE!!! AND, I HEARD SHIT IN THE DISTANCE & I KNEW THAT I HAD TO RUN FOR COVER BUT DIDN'T THINK THAT I HAD TIME TO GET TO ANY! THERE IS NO "SAFE PLACE" IN MY LITTLE HOUSE SURROUNDED BY HUGE TREES! SO I JUST HEADED TO THE EDGE OF THE LR TO BE WITH MY DOGS! I FIGURED IF I WAS GOING TO DIE I WAS GOING TO DIE WITH MY DOGS!!! So I ran to the br/lr doorway & hunkered down on the floor on the inside of the lr doorway with the wall behind me & the dogs & crates to my right!
I no sooner got in the floor then it hit my house & came through my house! Immediately the trees in front were uprooted & thrown on the LR roof, right where me & my dogs were! But it was too late to change places or to do any other course of action! So I just STAYED! AND, PRAYED! I heard & FELT the trees hitting & landing on my LR/my house! And, I heard the other trees being snapped off! And, twisted! And, being thrown through the air!!! And, my walls were rattling & shaking back & forth!!! And, it FELT, & SOUNDED, & LOOKED LIKE MY HOUSE WAS COMING APART!!!???
I REALLY REALLY THOUGHT THAT THAT WAS IT!!! I THOUGHT & BELIEVED THAT MY HOUSE WAS COMING APART!? I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS JUST GOING TO LITTERALLY BLOW APART!!!??? I JUST STARTED SCREAMING--OH GOD!!! OH GOD!!! OH GOD!!! I just knew that that was it! That my house was going to be gone & that somewhere under all the rubble was going to be me & my dogs! And, that I'd either be dead or even maybe worse??? Be trapped under beams, walls, trees, etc... hurt, injured & screaming in pain & that nobody would even know that I was there! I DIALED 911!!! At least that way people would know!
That kind of wind force being inside your home & blowing around the inside of your home & blowing shit around in your home & your walls moving back & forth, IT IS THE MOST TERRIFYING, MOST HELPLESS FEELING EVER!!!
When it seemed to have passed & I was still alive I thought, I have got to find a flashlight & try to look outside & see how bad the damage is & see if I have a roof left at all!? And, to just see if I was trapped in my home by the trees or what! It was pit dark & I thought I was never going to find a flashlight!!! But, finally after panicing in the dark forever I found one! Then got a couple of others turned on. Then, I opened my LR window & there was two huge trees against it & on my house. Then I tried to open my front door & peak out! I cracked my door to see the other side of the two huge trees on my house. There was no way to get out that way!
So I made my way to the back door & opened it to look out with my flashlight! I was able to go out on my deck! Then I saw the rest of the devastation on that side. I had a tree from somewhere--still don't know where???--in my side pen. The trunk was between the deck & my back panels & the rest of the tree was on my shed & laying on my panel that joined the shed! I knew that somehow I had to get it off! The two trees in the front had laid down my panels there & there was no way to get any of them up! So I had to work on that tree & so my dogs could go out when they needed to go potty! But first I went on out & looked around!
I saw the other two huge cedars to the left of my van & house & they had been snapped like toothpicks & laid down outside of my pen towards my back yard! When I went on out in my driveway I could see that the other trees had been uprooted that were laying on my house! And, then I went on down & there were trees across my driveway! But were smaller!? And, one was on a line. And, I knew that there was more but nothing I could do about any of it until morning except to work on that tree in my side pen!
I had just bought a folding limb saw the night before at Lowes! So I took it & piece by piece I sawed & sawed & sawed & sawed & sawed some more until I got it sawed up enought to get it off my panel & shed! I sawed everything off of the trunk & got it off of my shed & panel finally! That took me about two hours in rain, wind & some lighting & total darkness! I had to do with a flashlight & a lantern! Then I had to raise the panel & to fix it! I had to drag all of that & throw it outside the pen to get it out of the way!
Then, well!? You know the rest pretty much! I didn't sleep that night, nor the next, & last night I did finally get some sleep, but not good sleep! I couldn't get to sleep at first! As soon as I even start to dose off my mind sees things & plays out all of these scary & terrifying events! Just all kinds of shit!!! And, then I jump awake & am freaking out!!! And, all jumpy & nervous & sick to my stomach!
I never realized that this would come after or be a new part of my life after all of this, but it is!!!
So right now--I HAVE ALL OF MY HOUSE CLEAN AS A PEN, & ORGANIZED--THE PARTS I LIVE IN! I HAVEN'T DONE MY STORAGE BR YET! JUST SWEPT & MOPPED IT! AND, ALL OF MY PENS & YARD IS CLEANED UP REALLY NICE--CEPT FOR THE BIG MONSTER TREES! AND, ONCE THEY ARE GONE IT WILL BE TOTALLY CLEAN!
BUT ALL OF THIS HAS COST ME A LOT OF UNDUE STRESS, & GREAT TRAUMA!!! I CANNOT SLEEP! I AM HAVING VISIONS & DREAMS & NIGHTMARES OF ALL THE WEATHER RELATED SHIT & WEATHER SHIT THAT DIDN'T EVEN HAPPEN TOO!!! AND, I CAN'T REST!
I AM EXHAUSTED BEYOND ANY WORDS!!! I AM GREATLY SLEEP DEPRIVED!!! AND, MY BODY, ESP.... LEGS & HANDS HURT REALLY REALLY BADLY!!! MY HANDS WERE SWOLLEN SO BADLY THIS MORNING THAT I COULD BARELY BEND MY FINGERS OR USE MY HANDS! THE CIRCULATION WAS CUT OFF!!! AND, MY LEGS HAVE BEEN IN REAL BAD SHAPE YESTERDAY & LAST NIGHT! I AM VERY VERY SICK WITH A REALLY BAD RESPIRTORY INFECTION!!! WHEN I DO FINALLY DOZE OFF OF A MORNING I AM WAKING UP HACKING SHIT OUT OF MY CHEST & LUNGS SOOO BAD I CAN'T GET BACK TO SLEEP! AND, I AM TERRIBLY SICK TO MY STOMACH!!! I THINK PHYSICALLY AS WELL AS MENTALLY! AND, I WAS AWAKENED WITH A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE HEADACHE THIS MORNING! I WAS SCREAMING WITH IT & HAD TO GRAB A BOTTLE OF ASPIRIN & TAKE SOME!
THAT GREATLY HELPED WHEN IT FINALLY KICKED IN!
I didn't get hurt from the storm, but I did bash my brains out outside!!!
So for now!? This is where I'm at! All of this & I am waiting to see if anybody will fix my roof & ceiling for me! My friend is coming here tomorrow & we are having lunch together & I have to call the utility company & tell them that I need them to put up new wires to my security lights & to fix them so that I can have some light outside my home!
And, that gapping hole in my ceiling in my LR is freezing me to death!!! And, making me crank up my heat--which is running up my utilities!
Well! This has been more than long enough!!! And, I am sick as hell & exhausted! I am going to try to go to bed now!?

But the weather was suddenly warm & pretty & great weather for cleaning up shit! But I couldn't get much done for the line of traffic! But I had to just deal with it all!
When the guys started sawing down the trees off of my house/roof it made my ceiling cave in! Before that, when you looked at the ceiling it looked fine! You couldn't see what was on the other side of fine??? But when it caved in my LR I could see what was there. I was outside with the guys while they were doing all of that! And, my dogs were in crates in my LR! And, with all the noice, chainsaws & excitement I HAD NO IDEAL THAT IT WAS CAVING IN WITH MY BABIES IN THERE! But they were not directly under it!!! They were on the other side. But imagine walking out the door & thinking that AT LEAST YOUR CEILING IS FINE & YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT AT LEAST!!! And, then walking back in the door to a total disaster & mess!?
Sheet rock everywhere!-Wet! Water on the floor! Soaking wet insulation hanging from the ceiling to the floor! And, tons of crap from the trees all over-not only my floor, but all over my stuff! So here I had tons of trees & debree all over my house & property to clean up, & needed to be doing that, but instead I had to stop & clean my LR--while being interupted over & over. I thought I would never get it done!? And, it took me all day!
Then, I finally got a break & got to start working on the pens, porches & yards; & I got the porches done & the pens done & started on the yard & got a little bit of it done, but then the MH neighbor came over, with her brother & brought me a bucket of KFC & a couple of sides. They had bought it for them, but just ate a bite out of it & decided to give the rest to me! And, we talked for a long time & then it was dark!
Then, I came in after all of that, & did laundry, did a bunch of dishes, swept the floors, mopped, & gave all my dogs a bath, & put on clean bed linens & then FINALLY!!! I GOT A SHOWER! I then tried to work on my computer to see if I could get it to work, or even get it do do anything!? And, I knew that I could work on it a little if only I could get into it!? So I worked on it, & FINALLY!!! I GOT INTO IT! I worked on it & got some things going!? The computer is working, cept for the KB being totally screwed up!? I can get on it! I can check my mail! Surf! But the KB is screwed up, & so I went to WM today & got a KB & a cheap can of air!
Guy said to take it apart & to blow all the dirt & dust & crap out of it!? He thinks that that might be the problem with the kb!? But then when it got wet from the tornado blowing through my house that really did it! Work in progress!
When the tornado came, I had no warning about the tornado! They said that a severe storm was out west & was headed east! They said that it had popped up & that it was moving fast, about 85 mph!!! And, that it was heading east! And, I knew that if it was flopping light poles back & forth there that if it got here that I was screwed if it did that with any or all of the trees around my house! I put up my dogs in their crates--so that I could have them all in one area, & so that they could have some semblance of saftey!?
I had their crates in my LR on the wall at my bedroom. And, I knew that I was going to lose my power so I was trying to get some much needed housework done, & was in the bathroom trying to at least get some mop water made up!? But I was keeping an ear out on the news & on the weather! I had my windows cracked about 6 inches from the top so that I could hear!
Well, I HEARD!!! SUDDENLY THE WIND HIT WITH INCREDIBLE FORCE!!! AND, I HEARD SHIT IN THE DISTANCE & I KNEW THAT I HAD TO RUN FOR COVER BUT DIDN'T THINK THAT I HAD TIME TO GET TO ANY! THERE IS NO "SAFE PLACE" IN MY LITTLE HOUSE SURROUNDED BY HUGE TREES! SO I JUST HEADED TO THE EDGE OF THE LR TO BE WITH MY DOGS! I FIGURED IF I WAS GOING TO DIE I WAS GOING TO DIE WITH MY DOGS!!! So I ran to the br/lr doorway & hunkered down on the floor on the inside of the lr doorway with the wall behind me & the dogs & crates to my right!
I no sooner got in the floor then it hit my house & came through my house! Immediately the trees in front were uprooted & thrown on the LR roof, right where me & my dogs were! But it was too late to change places or to do any other course of action! So I just STAYED! AND, PRAYED! I heard & FELT the trees hitting & landing on my LR/my house! And, I heard the other trees being snapped off! And, twisted! And, being thrown through the air!!! And, my walls were rattling & shaking back & forth!!! And, it FELT, & SOUNDED, & LOOKED LIKE MY HOUSE WAS COMING APART!!!???
I REALLY REALLY THOUGHT THAT THAT WAS IT!!! I THOUGHT & BELIEVED THAT MY HOUSE WAS COMING APART!? I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS JUST GOING TO LITTERALLY BLOW APART!!!??? I JUST STARTED SCREAMING--OH GOD!!! OH GOD!!! OH GOD!!! I just knew that that was it! That my house was going to be gone & that somewhere under all the rubble was going to be me & my dogs! And, that I'd either be dead or even maybe worse??? Be trapped under beams, walls, trees, etc... hurt, injured & screaming in pain & that nobody would even know that I was there! I DIALED 911!!! At least that way people would know!
That kind of wind force being inside your home & blowing around the inside of your home & blowing shit around in your home & your walls moving back & forth, IT IS THE MOST TERRIFYING, MOST HELPLESS FEELING EVER!!!
When it seemed to have passed & I was still alive I thought, I have got to find a flashlight & try to look outside & see how bad the damage is & see if I have a roof left at all!? And, to just see if I was trapped in my home by the trees or what! It was pit dark & I thought I was never going to find a flashlight!!! But, finally after panicing in the dark forever I found one! Then got a couple of others turned on. Then, I opened my LR window & there was two huge trees against it & on my house. Then I tried to open my front door & peak out! I cracked my door to see the other side of the two huge trees on my house. There was no way to get out that way!
So I made my way to the back door & opened it to look out with my flashlight! I was able to go out on my deck! Then I saw the rest of the devastation on that side. I had a tree from somewhere--still don't know where???--in my side pen. The trunk was between the deck & my back panels & the rest of the tree was on my shed & laying on my panel that joined the shed! I knew that somehow I had to get it off! The two trees in the front had laid down my panels there & there was no way to get any of them up! So I had to work on that tree & so my dogs could go out when they needed to go potty! But first I went on out & looked around!
I saw the other two huge cedars to the left of my van & house & they had been snapped like toothpicks & laid down outside of my pen towards my back yard! When I went on out in my driveway I could see that the other trees had been uprooted that were laying on my house! And, then I went on down & there were trees across my driveway! But were smaller!? And, one was on a line. And, I knew that there was more but nothing I could do about any of it until morning except to work on that tree in my side pen!
I had just bought a folding limb saw the night before at Lowes! So I took it & piece by piece I sawed & sawed & sawed & sawed & sawed some more until I got it sawed up enought to get it off my panel & shed! I sawed everything off of the trunk & got it off of my shed & panel finally! That took me about two hours in rain, wind & some lighting & total darkness! I had to do with a flashlight & a lantern! Then I had to raise the panel & to fix it! I had to drag all of that & throw it outside the pen to get it out of the way!
Then, well!? You know the rest pretty much! I didn't sleep that night, nor the next, & last night I did finally get some sleep, but not good sleep! I couldn't get to sleep at first! As soon as I even start to dose off my mind sees things & plays out all of these scary & terrifying events! Just all kinds of shit!!! And, then I jump awake & am freaking out!!! And, all jumpy & nervous & sick to my stomach!
I never realized that this would come after or be a new part of my life after all of this, but it is!!!
So right now--I HAVE ALL OF MY HOUSE CLEAN AS A PEN, & ORGANIZED--THE PARTS I LIVE IN! I HAVEN'T DONE MY STORAGE BR YET! JUST SWEPT & MOPPED IT! AND, ALL OF MY PENS & YARD IS CLEANED UP REALLY NICE--CEPT FOR THE BIG MONSTER TREES! AND, ONCE THEY ARE GONE IT WILL BE TOTALLY CLEAN!
BUT ALL OF THIS HAS COST ME A LOT OF UNDUE STRESS, & GREAT TRAUMA!!! I CANNOT SLEEP! I AM HAVING VISIONS & DREAMS & NIGHTMARES OF ALL THE WEATHER RELATED SHIT & WEATHER SHIT THAT DIDN'T EVEN HAPPEN TOO!!! AND, I CAN'T REST!
I AM EXHAUSTED BEYOND ANY WORDS!!! I AM GREATLY SLEEP DEPRIVED!!! AND, MY BODY, ESP.... LEGS & HANDS HURT REALLY REALLY BADLY!!! MY HANDS WERE SWOLLEN SO BADLY THIS MORNING THAT I COULD BARELY BEND MY FINGERS OR USE MY HANDS! THE CIRCULATION WAS CUT OFF!!! AND, MY LEGS HAVE BEEN IN REAL BAD SHAPE YESTERDAY & LAST NIGHT! I AM VERY VERY SICK WITH A REALLY BAD RESPIRTORY INFECTION!!! WHEN I DO FINALLY DOZE OFF OF A MORNING I AM WAKING UP HACKING SHIT OUT OF MY CHEST & LUNGS SOOO BAD I CAN'T GET BACK TO SLEEP! AND, I AM TERRIBLY SICK TO MY STOMACH!!! I THINK PHYSICALLY AS WELL AS MENTALLY! AND, I WAS AWAKENED WITH A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE HEADACHE THIS MORNING! I WAS SCREAMING WITH IT & HAD TO GRAB A BOTTLE OF ASPIRIN & TAKE SOME!
THAT GREATLY HELPED WHEN IT FINALLY KICKED IN!
I didn't get hurt from the storm, but I did bash my brains out outside!!!
So for now!? This is where I'm at! All of this & I am waiting to see if anybody will fix my roof & ceiling for me! My friend is coming here tomorrow & we are having lunch together & I have to call the utility company & tell them that I need them to put up new wires to my security lights & to fix them so that I can have some light outside my home!
And, that gapping hole in my ceiling in my LR is freezing me to death!!! And, making me crank up my heat--which is running up my utilities!
Well! This has been more than long enough!!! And, I am sick as hell & exhausted! I am going to try to go to bed now!?

That one neighbor said that her & her boys could come up & help--but that's the one that was supposed to help me bury the dog!? And, I wound up doing it while they watched!? Said she'd light a fire under some of the others & that she'd call me back! Well hell! I never heard back from her, & still ain't heard shit! Hell!!! I got all the damned shit done now, cept for those big bad boys!!!
Hell! I can probably run an add & let people come cut them for wood & get rid of them! I'm going to call that Sheriff number to see if they really will come back & cut the rest of that up for me & haul it out of here!? If they will that will take care of the rest of the clean up!?
I FINALLY GOT TO SLEEP LAST NIGHT!!! ALL NIGHT! IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! BEST SLEEP EVER!!!
What worries me is that everybody is going to drag their feet on the roof shit & that it will rain in my house & flood my house!
That one neighbor said Sunday that she was going to light a fire under some butts & that her son had a 4-wheeler & a trailer & that they could come up here & help me but then she just left me up here doing all that cleanup in the cold wind & snow & never even called back or showed up or anything! That's what burns me about people! They will promise you the moon & not do anything! It just really really erked me that she never even called back & never even showed up to help me clean up even though she knew that I was out in the cold & snow flurries working up a flurry myself! I had it all done an hour before dark & then came in & did a ton of more work in the house!
I mean why leave me the note at all & have me to call her at all??? And, why tell me that shit if she & the others ain't going to do nothing!?
Anyway! Me & my dogs are ok! We lived through it & over all we are damned lucky!!! Many others are not!!! And, they all need our prayers!!!
It is nice to know that there are actual people out there that really cares. During these times you will see many that will help. That is a wonderful thing. I'm sure a book about your life would be very interesting. You take care of yourself. My prayers are with you.
We went to the restarant where the Chinese family owns & the ones that rent to my son! Well, my son has been out of work & then got his car totaled the day that he got it... So he has to pay them rent, so he is working at their restaurant now.... & he was working there today! I did not know this or we would have eatten some place else!
Well! He saw us first & ran up behind the little girl working there & was whispering shit in her ear towards me! And, they were looking at me & laughing!!! Then he went & hid for a while! Then, he finally came back out & worked but continued to ignore me & to act as though I never existed!!! He never even acknowledged me!!! He just acted as though I were not even there!!!
It really really hurt me!!! It was all I could do to hold back my tears! Then, my friend brought me home & she reached in her purse & gave me some money to go towards my utilities & said that the other lady would be sending me some money too!!! And, then I REALLY REALLY HAD TO HOLD BACK THE TEARS!!! I MEAN, HERE SHE CAME OVER TODAY & PICKED ME UP & THEN PAID FOR LUNCH, & THEN GAVE ME SOME MONEY TOWARDS MY UTILITIES ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS, & YET MY SON DIDN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME OR SAY HELLO OR ASK ME IF I WAS OKAY OR IF I NEEDED ANYTHING, OR EVEN THAT HE WAS SORRY THAT ANY OF THIS HAPPENED TO ME!!! NOTHING!
Well! One good thing!? The weather is AB today!!! Warm & beautiful!!! I am so thankful for that!!! And, for my friend!!! God sent her to me right before the 1st doctor told me MS & my son used, abused me & walked out of my life! And she's been here every since!!!! And, I would truly not be here were it not for her!!!
And, I suspect that if I get any help now that it will be her that will bring it!!!

AND, BLEDPUB!!!! WHAT A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE STORY & JUST NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!!!!! OMG!!!! I AM SOOOO SOOOO SORRY THAT YOU HAD TO EXPERIENCE THAT & ESP...ON YOUR BIRTHDAY!!! THE WHOLE STORY IS JUST SOOO VERY ATROCIOUS!!!!
Just experiencing what I did, & have was sooo terrifying & trying to get through it & get things done is just a nightmare! And, yet!? Even with all of it, I AM SOOOOO DAMNED LUCKY!!! AND, MY NEIGHBOR TOO REALLY!!! And, yet, what I got was only a taste of what many have gotten! Tellico Plains, TN was just leveled!!! The clean up there is a horrible nightmare exerience!!! And, then all the dead people!
There was a little girl here that they found out in a field & she was still alive, so they rushed her to the hospital where she lived for a few days! THEY BURRIED HER THE OTHER DAY!!! SHE WAS THE ONLY SURVIVOR OF HER FAMILY & NOW SHE HAS JOINED THEM!!! JUST SOOOO SOOOOO HORRIBLE & SAD!
AND, IT'S JUST SOOOO TERRIFYING TO THINK THAT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ME, OR MY NEIGHBOR WITH THE 15 OLD SON, OR THE ONE BEHIND ME WITH THE TWO SMALL KIDS! ALL OF US RIGHT HERE COULD HAVE BEEN THOSE!!! AND, WE CAME SOOOO DAMNED CLOSE!!!
I have had had nightmares, etc... And, I have a new PTSD from that & it is giving me problems!!! I am having a very hard time! But still, I am sooo damned lucky over all!!!!
Well! I got a little help today, that was huge to me! It's raining here a lot right now! I want to post about this wonderful & special thing but I had to get up early & I have been outside in the weather all day & then have been working all night in the house & just finally got a shower! My clothes & shoes have been wet all night & I am just DROP DEAD EXHAUSTED & I AM FALLING ASLEEP OVER & OVER AS I WRITE EVEN THIS!!! So I am going to fall in the bed behind me & just let go & sleep for as long as the world, & my dogs, & my poor body will let me get away with!!! :) And, I will post about it tomorrow!

He just barely got the tarp on just in time!!! The NEIGHBORS!!! were just fine letting it rain in my freaking house! They came over here the next day--mostly to gawlk I think!? And, then, when they were done they were done!? I would have water flooding my home & my house & everything would be ruined! And, me & the dogs would be setting in a wet house! And, the water would have ran to my bedroom & have been under my bed! What a way for me to have lived or to have slept!
But her good friend Al came through for me!!! He came here single handledly!! And, did the entire thing by himself!!! He was very slow & steady but he got the job done & he got it done like a true professional!! And, tonight the inside of my house is dry--BECAUSE OF HIM & MY BEST FRIEND!!!! THANK GOD FOR BOTH!!!!
NOW!? If I can just get a new roof!? And, a new ceiling! Hopefully that lady that my friend knows with the Habitat crew can come & do the work! This guy that came is super super good & very maticulous!? He pretty much said that if nobody comes to my rescue to put on a new roof that he is at least going to get his brother to come & work with him to at least repair the damaged part of the roof & the ceiling!?
He said that there was a lot of lose places up there & that the roof being as old as it is too, it is leaking in several places he said! He said I don't know if you've seen all of the leakes inside yet because the small leaks will be absorbed by the insulation for a while!? He said, Look! If you can get an organization to put on an entire new roof for you, that would be best! You could really use a new roof altogether! It's old, & has some bad leaky spots in it & then the tornado didn't help matters buy ripping up a portion of it, & by pulling the rest more lose!
At any rate!? He did a great job & just in the nick of time!!!
There are still good people in the world and I'm glad you have one there as a friend.
