MS is an autoimmune disease caused by the immune system, downshifting of the immune system during pregnancy cause a "natural remission" up shifting back to normal after pregnancy and often overshooting for a while before a return to normal causes a woman with MS, ms to be more active than before pregnancy for a while until the immune system finds its normal again.
breast feeding seems to cause a continuance of the "natural remission"
woman who didn't know they had ms are often diagnosed after pregnancy, woman who knew often have more relapses after pregnancy & breast feeding is complete...
so your on tract to be very quickly diagnosed soon with MS if its ms causing your issues. Are you planning on breast feeding?
They tried me on Keppra when they first thought it might be "true" seizures but it didn't work. I've had this for five years with no relief. Do you know of any other possible treatments?
I'm kind of worried that I might have some progressive form of MS because I have had residual effects after both of my relapses/episodes. It also seems like I've never really had a true "break" from symptoms if these really are tonic spasms and related to MS. I always have symptoms and then just some periods of time where it's worse.
